## Using a Camera

When you look through the viewfinder of a camera, you can see how the camera’s view of the world is projected on to the lens. This is called _shooting_.

When you point and take a picture, the camera records this image into a separate file. This is called _capturing_ or _photo_ _shooting_.

Photographers sometimes use the terms _taking a photograph_ or _taking a picture_ to refer to both capturing and shooting. The terms _shooting_ and _photographing_ also sometimes refer to the act of creating raster images.

## Shooting Pictures and Videos

Your camera stores pictures on its internal storage — usually a memory card. However, the term “memory card” is really a misnomer, because all digital cameras today store their images on internal storage.

All digital cameras store pictures on a small memory card, called a _memory card_, and most newer camera models — such as the Nikon D3100, Canon EOS Rebel T3i and the Nikon D7000 — have large memory cards in them.

The most advanced and expensive cameras use _large_ memory cards. These cards are usually only available through the manufacturer and are not generally purchasable separately.

A typical memory card can hold between 8MB and 32GB of images. The size is measured in _megabytes_ (MB), and a megabyte is the number of bytes of information used to store 1,000 bytes of data. The megabyte is a unit of measurement that indicates how much information an image has stored on the memory card.

Most cameras have a memory card slot that you can insert a

In this guide we will take you through how to do common editing tasks in Photoshop Elements. We will tell you how to crop, correct, convert, and just about anything else you can think of.

The editing process is pretty similar between Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. We’re also going to go over some of the tips, tricks and tricks with Photoshop Elements that you probably don’t know.

This tutorial is for people that want a simple editing tool that will do everything that Photoshop will do. You will not be able to edit every single feature that Photoshop does, just everything that you need to get your job done.

You will know when you’re finished editing the image because you’ll notice a little red “Done” bar appear.

After you’ve finished editing, you can do a few more things with Photoshop. For example, you can save your image as a different type of file, like a TIFF file.

1. Open the image in Photoshop Elements.

Open the picture in Photoshop Elements.

2. Click on the Crop icon from the tools panel in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. The Crop tool will appear in the center of the editing screen.

3. You will notice that the Crop tool is different between Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. In Photoshop you have the ability to save your crop selection as a new layer. In Photoshop Elements you don’t have this option. However, you can still place your crop selection on a new layer and save the image.

Click the green plus icon to save the crop selection on a new layer in Photoshop and below right corner of the screen, click the green plus icon to save the crop selection in Photoshop Elements.

4. To crop your image, click and drag the crop tool inside your picture until it fits inside the image. Once you’re satisfied with the crop selection, click the crop tool to lock the selection and add it to your layer.

How to add annotation to a LineString or MultiLineString from a table

I have two questions here.
The first is, how can I add a annotation to a geopoint located inside a LineString in an Android app?
I think the following code would work:
GeoPoint point = new GeoPoint(geoPoint.getLatitudeE6(), geoPoint.getLongitudeE6());

However I only get latitude and longitude values without one of them is negative.
I don’t want to just insert a standard string, since it’s not only a simple coordinate – it’s a coordinate of a LineString.
So the second question is, how can I add an annotation to a table of coordinates, consisting of a LineString or MultiLineString?
I tried the following:
GeoPoint point = new GeoPoint(geoPoint.getLatitudeE6(), geoPoint.getLongitudeE6());

TableRow tr = new TableRow(this);
for (LineString l = lineList[k].getCoordinates();;) {

TableRow tr = new TableRow(this);
TextView text = new TextView(this);
TextView text1 = new TextView(this);
text1.setPadding(10, 10, 10, 10);
tr.addView(new TableCell(this));

Why can’t I SSH to a remote host and execute a command?

I have been tasked to clone a live source server to a new server and then perform all changes on the new server. The instructions I am following state the following:
#SHSH to new server
ssh root@NewServer “cd /var/www/app/repository && git pull origin master”

When I type this command it gives the following error:
fatal: unable to access ‘root@NewServer: /var/www/app/repository/’: No such file or directory

I am unable to connect to the NewServer due to the ssh command and have verified that the IP for the server is correct. Both servers are located on the same local network and both systems are running CentOS 6.2.

If you have the correct remote command working (i.e. ssh cd /home/user/Somewhere), you’re just mistaken thinking it’s meant for the root user. You need to take out the cd (or at least ensure it’s root’s home directory) and add sudo at the beginning.
sudo sh -c “cd /var/www/app/repository && git pull origin master”

This is typical of a configuration where root has no (or perhaps very little) access to /var/www/app/repository but the account is configured to have access through sudo.
$ ls /var/www/app/repository/

gives a list of folders not accessible by root:
$ ls /var/www/app/repository/
app-repository app repo repo-test

To check if that’s actually the case, you can try:
$ sudo ls /var/www/app/repository/

If that works, change it back so it’s accessible by root:
$ sudo cp -R /var/www/app/repository/* /var/www/app/repository

This will simply copy the stuff in the repository directory to /var/www/app/repository for you, overwriting any existing files there.
If that doesn’t work, you may have to either check if you have the correct user/group ownership for the directory
