As you may find out by reading its name, bitsoft ShowIP is a very simple application that does just that: it shows you the local and the external IPs.
Although it's in essence a fairly basic tool, bitsoft ShowIP does a bit more than that and comes to lend a hand to users who want to keep an eye on their IPs all the time.
The interface it boasts is minimal and shows the current hostname, LAN and WAN IPs, with a simple log screen at the bottom of the main window to notice any change that may occur.
A separate feature to resolve a host to an IP address is also available, but what's more important is that bitsoft ShowIP is capable of detecting any IP change and notify the user either by sending a message or by playing a sound.
There's not much to configure about bitsoft ShowIP, as it comprises only a basic settings menu with just two options designed to keep the window always on top and to save activity to a log file.
Otherwise, it remains a basic piece of software that runs on low resources and doesn't affect system performance at all. It runs fine on most Windows iterations, but it sometimes crashes on Windows 7, even when launched with administrator privileges.
All in all, bitsoft ShowIP deserves a chance, not necessarily because it shows the current IPs, but thanks to the fact that it can keep an eye on your IPs and notify of any modification that could occur.

As you may find out by reading its name, bitsoft FileManager is an application that can handle files in a way that is better than every other Windows application.
It offers a list of files, where it gathers not only the name of the files but also their attributes, their creation date, their creation time, their last modification date, and even their last modification time.
Files in this list can be removed, renamed, moved, copied or copied and moved to a destination folder.
It also has the ability to break a file down in sub-files and to have the possibility of having those sub-files compressed or decompressed.
It offers a tree view to browse files in a tree format and a list view to browse folders (using a file name as a title) or to search files (using a search string or regular expression).
A tree view, as its name suggests, shows a tree format (full screen is just one of the many available views), meaning that you can expand or collapse any branch to have a very fine control over the file structure you see.
Just below the tree view, it lets you create or edit a summary of the entire file, rename, compress, set attributes, modify a text file on it or a binary file on it, and copy or move the file.
All in all, bitsoft FileManager offers an excellent variety of features that clearly make it a best application for file managers.
It runs smoothly on Windows versions 10, 8.1 and 8, but it’s not recommended for Windows 7 due to its size, which might be a problem for users with limited disk space or low-end PC (or both!).
But if you do use bitsoft FileManager, there’s a serious problem that might prevent you from using some of its features and this is the presence of a rather strange mislabeled file: a portable application named bitsoft Portable.dll.
Bitsoft Agent is just another update of the same Agent software that bitsoft send out a few months ago.
The difference is that bitsoft Agent 2.1 is now based on the new Windows 10 SDK and offers new features, like a “Smart VPN Guide” that automatically detects the best IP and domain name to use when connecting to a VPN and offers the possibility to have secure DNS resolution.
It also allows users to bypass filtering through “Encrypted
What’s New In Bitsoft ShowIP?
Hello, I have a problem with it not showing up in the taskbar. Bitsoft Widget is saying that the tray icon isn’t present. I know it’s not supposed to require an icon, but I’m wondering if the program has a problem or if this is a family of apps issue. I’ve run the program in safe mode without any input from myself and still no icon. Do I have to start the program from the CD? If so, how do I do that? What do you suggest? This happened to my other disk drive, it won’t find it. I think this might be related to the problem.
If you cannot connect to any site from inside the program, then the cause could be that this program is not loading the “required” sites. This could be because you have not installed the security certificate or the site is simply not available for your program.
For example, if you are using Firefox 3 or later, the information is installed automatically. So if you are seeing “failed to load site” or “connection timed out”, it’s time to install a new certificate.
If you are using an older Firefox version, you may be able to download the certificate manually. Go to:
In the left-hand pane, find the root node (whose name should be “User”) and double-click it. You should see a list of Extensions to import. Select the relevant extension and click OK. You need to wait until Firefox has downloaded the certificate to show up in the certificate list. You may also want to wait for the process to finish on the system tray; this may take a while depending on network speed.
